As a community-based, not-for-profit health system, WellSpan is grateful for the individuals and organizations who feel passionate about supporting WellSpan's mission and our commitment to transform the health of the communities we serve.

Whether it's the health of newborn infants, nutrition programs, mental health programs, cancer patient help, the care of our senior population or another cause, your donation makes a direct impact.

We can help you find the fund, program or initiative that you'd like to support and the variety of ways you can choose to give.

Grateful Patient and Family

Heartfelt donation from heart patient

Joe Nichols had always considered himself healthy. Today, after having survived cardiac arrest, several heart blockages and congestive heart failure, he also considers himself lucky.

"The cardiac team at WellSpan was just phenomenal," Joe's wife, Carol, said, adding that his doctors always listened to her husband’s concerns before making any decisions about treatment.

Had it not been for their quick responses, Joe would not be here today, she said.

To show their gratitude, Joe and Carol sent a thank-you letter and donated $5,000 to the Heart & Vascular Grateful Patient and Family Program Fund at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.

Since their initial donation, Joe and Carol donated another $1,500 last year and will continue their donations to the WellSpan Foundation.
